Supporting Authentic Heart and Presence

Emma Eaton Taylor

MA, LMFT, Life Coach

I am dedicated to warmly empowering individuals and couples through non-judgmental listening, creative collaboration, and supporting access to inner wisdom. Together, we will explore and expand your awareness of patterns of behaving, thinking, feeling, and relating that lead to difficulty.

I have spent my entire life listening to the wisdom deep within, knowing there is no separation between my inner and outer world. My education has come from studying at institutions of higher learning, working with community programs that have served children and adults from diverse social locations, and absorbing my mother's kitchen sink advice. I am informed by my sacred relationship with my husband, moving through any difficulties with openness and softness of heart. Together we devote our lives to meaning, joy, and loving our animal friends.

I practice thoughtful integration in regard to theoretical orientation, drawing on elements that may include Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Psychodynamic Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness practices, and Buddhist philosophies on the nature of mind.

“I have worked with Emma for several years now. She is both gentle and honest. She has a true gift for seeing beyond the surface and is able to identify underlying causes. With her help, I have been able to break so much generational trauma with my two children and truly enjoy a sweet, deep connection with my husband. Most importantly, I’ve been able to dig deep, and see that the pain that lies beneath the surface is manageable, and if I face it, I can let it go. This emphasis on the root causes when we see the patterns in my life truly has changed me, my reactions, and my peace. I cannot recommend Emma enough.”
